A carbon credit representing a reduction or removal of one ton of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e) achieved by a project, validated and verified under the Thailand Voluntary Emission Reduction Program.

A REC (Renewable Energy Certificate) is a type of certificate that represents the environmental attributes of the generation of a one Megawatt-hour (MWh) of energy produced by renewable sources.

An emission reduction unit (termed as “Approved Carbon Credits” or “ACCs”) that the project achieves in a given period of the project, after being monitored and verified in accordance to Global Carbon Council standards.

Under the Verified Carbon Standard Program, projects are issued unique carbon credits known as Verified Carbon Units or VCUs. Each VCU represents a reduction or removal of one ton of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e) achieved by a project.
